This program advocates for all food groups as part of balanced diet, but your dietary needs can be accommodated as needed.  We will talk about food in terms of energy and how it fuels and reacts with your unique body.  Besides focusing on WHAT you eat, we’ll also explore a lot about HOW you eat.

What if I have dietary concerns?

Do I have to give up all of my favorite foods?

Absolutely not. Remember, this isn't a diet! Depriving and restricting food will not lead to sustainable change in your mind of body.  When we take something away, it only makes us want it more.  In this program, we will get away from the old thinking of “good” and “bad” foods.  Food is just food.

What if I'm really busy?

Oftentimes, the busiest people need to make time for themselves the most. With this program, you will put yourself at the top of the priority list. But don’t worry, this won’t come at the expense of anything or anyone else. You don’t have to choose between a health plan and your social life/family.  We find a way to make it all fit together in a fun, easy, and sustainable way.

What if I can’t exercise or I don’t have a gym to workout at?

This program is all about moving your body for pleasure not pain.  That doesn't mean exercise isn't important, but it is just part of the bigger wellness picture. Whether you have access to a gym or not, you can still get meaningful movement throughout your day in lots of ways. 

Will this be like therapy? 

Yes and no. Both coaches and therapists provide counsel, but coaches are more focused on working through their clients’ current challenges and creating a plan for the future. Whereas, a therapist may help clients work through and resolve past traumas. As a coach, I will ask you questions to promote self-discovery and get you moving from that feeling of being “stuck” to one of empowerment.

How I can be sure that I'll get results working with you?  

Remember, this isn't a diet so you can't "fail." Failing only happens when you give up.  In this program, you will have constant support and accountability as well as a customized approach to your health goals.
